Our dance studio’s sprung dance floor helps to prevent injuries

SK Dance Studio’s main dance space has a beautiful professional-grade sprung dance floor – it’s a sheer joy to dance on!  Our dance floor is designed to absorb shock and therefore help to protect precious joints and bones from injury.  This is particularly important when jumping and leaping, or when performing repetitive moves like in tap dancing for example.

Fully height adjustable ballet barres for perfect posture whatever your height

Our dance studio is also equipped with professional ballet barres, which are fully height adjustable depending on the age group we’re teaching.  This helps to ensure perfect posture and avoids the bad habits that can develop by using a barre that’s too high or low for the dancer.  Our barres can be reconfigured to best suit the learning styles of each class, giving flexibility to teach in the centre, or at the side of the room. 

Our recently renovated dance studio is wonderfully light and airy. Whilst children are in class, there’s plenty of space for parents to sit, chat and help themselves to a cuppa!
