Dance shows and performing with SK Dance Studio
Costumes, make-up, lights and action – Learn show choreography that dazzles!
Dancing shows and performance opportunities with SK Dance Studio
The lights. The music. The costumes. The make-up. And of course… the choreography. There’s nothing quite like the experience of performing in a dancing show and at SK Dance Studio, it’s a big part of what we do.
Through a combination of our main school show, smaller events and professional shows on big theatre stages, there’s plenty of opportunities for all our dancers to shine on stage.
Dancing on stage is an important part of what we do at SK Dance Studio, so as well as developing the technical ability of our dancers, we devote plenty of class time to building performance skills.
Through our regular live performances, all our students, regardless of age and ability get the chance to really shine on stage. As well as being amazing fun, performing on stage can really help build a young person’s confidence, providing valuable life-skills that are transferable into all walks of life.
The SK Dance Studio school show
Firstly, there’s our own dancing school show which we typically put on every 18 months. Our show always takes place in a real theatre environment, giving students a chance to experience the thrills of performing on stage to a live audience, as well as enjoy all the back-stage fun.
Performing in professional theatres
In addition to our own show, we’re regularly invited to take part in much larger shows run by professional entertainment companies. Over the years, Susan Kielb’s dancers have been invited to perform at some of the biggest stages in the most beautiful theatres around including:
- Sadler’s Wells Theatre, London
- Festival Theatre, Disneyland Paris
- Palace Theatre, Manchester
- Opera House Theatre, Winter Gardens, Blackpool
- Empire Theatre, Liverpool
- Guild Hall, Charter Theatre, Preston
Keep an eye on our news section for details of upcoming performances.
