Dance exam classes, show work, fitness and fun. There’s a dance class for everyone at SK Dance Studio.

We offer a wide range of dance classes suitable for different age groups and abilities. Ballet, tap and modern class time includes a balanced mix of formal syllabus training in preparation for graded ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) examinations and ADA (Allied Dancing Association) medal tests, as well as the opportunity to work on a huge variety of performance dance styles in readiness for show-time.

For those who want to mix it up with a wider range of dance styles, we offer a fun and exciting Acro class which fuses acrobatic and dance choreography.  We also run a popular commercial street-dance class, offering a cool mix of hip-hop and street moves. And for adults, choose between adult ballet or adult tap dancing, with two classes in each genre to choose from depending on experience and ability.

As well as timetabled classes, look out for our workshop sessions

As well as our timetabled classes, keep an eye on our news section for information about our special workshops. These give our dancers a fabulous opportunity to work with a range of specialist teachers, or professional dance artists.  Not only are our workshops amazing fun, but they also offer dancers valuable extra experience which expands their repertoire and helps to build more rounded performers.

Here’s a video of our Aerial Skills Workshop, with ex professional dancer and seasoned aerial artist Sheryl Moore.  This gave dancers their first ever experience on the aerial silks and aerial hoop.
