In our commercial Street Dance class, it’s all about the moves! There’s no set syllabus work – so every second is spent working on killer routines and combinations.

In this high energy class, dancers will learn to move, turn, pop and drop like a pro to the funkiest of dance tracks, as well as build strength and stamina. Our specialist street dance teacher mixes in influences from other dance genres such as Jazz and Hip-Hop too, to create a really fun and rewarding street dance session.

Junior Street Dance for 4 to 5 year olds:

Ideal for boys and girls aged four and five eight, our Junior Street Dance class gets those little legs moving and all that swagger grooving!  In our Junior class, the choreography is still challenging, but the learning is broken up into bite sized pieces leaving little ones comfortable with the pace, and feeling like they’re really building a solid repertoire of street moves.

Middles Street Dance for 6 to 9 year olds:

Take the next step and build on those street dance skills.  Our middles street dance class is ideal for boys and girls aged six to nine years old.

Senior Street Dance class for over 9s:

Our Senior Street Dance class takes the moves and the learning to the next level, with more challenging choreography and a focus on performance presentation.  It’s fast, fun and will appeal to everyone, regardless of your previous dance experience.

Street Dance at SK Dance Studio is taught by a fully qualified guest teacher who specialises in the street style.

Because our classes are open to kids from four to 8 (Junior Street Dance), or over 8s (Senior Street Dance), there’s a real mix of abilities in each group, but we make the moves inclusive for everyone. It really is amazing to see how quickly our street dancers pick up steps during each session.   

After just a few classes, they’re all busting out the moves – and that’s really rewarding for both the children and their parents to see.
